We can print on almost anything… New HP FB700 installed

Due to increased demand for our signage and large format printing services we have increased capacity with the purchase of a new HP Scitex FB700 Flatbed UV press. This was a natural fit for us because of its speed, quality and environmental benefits.

The new press is second to none in terms of speed, giving us a competitive advantage in terms of faster turnaround times for our clients. This press uses UV Inks and can print directly onto rigid substrates like corriboard, foam PVC, aluminium composite panel, doors up 2.5 inches thick and glass.

KPW Print takes delivery of new Kala Arkane Laminator 1650

KPW Print continues to invest in the future. We have upgraded our laminator to a new Kala Arkane Laminator 1650, this has given us increased capacity for laminating due to the higher productivity of this machine.

This addition increases our services in our sign & display print department.

The Kala provides simultaneous single-sided lamination and adhesive mounting onto substrates up to 50mm thick.

First print company to achieve ISO13485:2003 certification

KPW Print made their own piece of history last month, by becoming the first print solutions company to achieve ISO13485:2003 certification. The certification was awarded to KPW Print by the independent management system certification body BQAI. The standard specifies the requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
